For Telegram channel authors and bloggers

Your channel is now also a blog people find through search

Connect a Telegram channel or another source and your posts turn into articles on your ProtoPlex blog — with search, stats and paid memberships. Keep writing in Telegram.

Free: one source on the base plan. The channel has to be public.

Why bother

Telegram is great for an audience, not for search

Your channel grows while you post every day. But new readers rarely arrive from search, and a week later even you struggle to find an old post.

Search barely sees posts

A post has no headline, no section and no proper page of its own. Someone searching for an answer on your topic usually never reaches the channel.

Posts sink in the feed

A strong piece from last month is only reachable by scrolling. There is no archive by topic — each post lives for a few days.

Everything rests on one platform

The messenger sets the reach and the rules. Your own page with an archive and followers is a second growth point that doesn’t depend on the channel feed.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs by itself

  1. Point us to your channel

Sign up and enter the address of a public channel — @username or a t.me link. A preview shows the first articles before you connect anything.

  2. Choose how to publish

As drafts, so you review each article, or straight to the blog. Set how often to check the channel: hourly or less often on the free plan.

  3. Keep writing in Telegram

New posts become articles: headline, text, photos, and hashtags turn into tags. The first sync picks up your latest 20 posts.

What you get

A blog that works while you post to your channel

Your own page with an archive

An address like protoplex.ru/your-name, a cover, a description and every article in order. Readers follow the blog and see new pieces in their feed.

  • An RSS feed for the blog
  • A public “Author in numbers” page

Pages built for search

Every article is a separate page with a headline and description, and the text reaches search crawlers right away, without waiting for scripts.

  • Server-side rendering
  • canonical and hreflang
  • A sitemap with articles and blogs
  • A social preview image for every article

Topics, automatically

Published articles are sorted into the portal’s topics by meaning — next to similar pieces, where new readers find them. Fresh articles also appear in the main feed.

Stats in the studio

Views, read-throughs, reading time, reactions and followers — per article and per period. On Pro and Business you also get traffic sources, devices and audience.

Earnings without extra tools

Paid membership tiers, paid articles and tips are available on the free plan. Payment processing fees are covered by the platform.

  • Membership tiers from 99 ₽ or $1.99 a month, up to five tiers
  • Plus partner program: half of Plus revenue is shared among authors by reading time
  • Earnings become withdrawable after 7 days; the minimum payout is 1,000 ₽ or $20

Fee on your earnings

  • Free and Plus15%
  • Pro7%
  • Business5%

These are the platform’s current terms and may change. The latest numbers are always on the pricing page.

Sources

Where you can import from

Connected sources are checked on a schedule; one-off imports create drafts. A short, honest note on each:

  • Telegram channel

    Auto-import

Posts from a public channel — by @username or link.

    • Public channels with web preview enabled (t.me/s/…) only; private channels are not supported
    • Albums are merged into one article; forwarded posts are skipped
    • Posts under 300 characters are skipped by default — the threshold is adjustable
    • Photos are copied to our storage; the article date is the post date
  • RSS / Atom

    Auto-import

Your site’s feed or any blog’s. A page address is enough — we’ll find the feed.

    • By default the canonical points to the original, so search traffic stays with your site
    • Full text can be fetched from the page when the feed only has a summary
    • The first sync picks up the last 30 days
  • Telematic

    Auto-import

Ready-made pieces from a telematic.pro project — via the feed key from “Integrations → Website via API”.

    • The key is stored encrypted
    • Publication receipts and stats (views, reactions, comments) are sent back to Telematic
  • Article by link

    One-off

Any page with an article: we extract the main text and images and create a draft.

    • Up to 20 imports a day
    • You can keep the canonical on the original page
  • Markdown and ZIP

    One-off

Notes from Obsidian, Notion, Jekyll or Hugo: .md files with images or a single ZIP archive.

    • Up to 50 MB and 300 files at a time
    • Each file becomes a draft; title, tags and canonical come from front matter
  • The free plan connects one source checked at most hourly; Pro allows up to five, Business up to 25.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Won’t this create duplicates in search?
It depends on the source. For RSS we set the canonical to the original article by default: search engines treat your site as the original, and search traffic stays there. Posts from Telegram and Telematic get no canonical link — the ProtoPlex page becomes the original for search, which is the point of importing. You can add a link to the original post to every article’s footer in the source settings.
Who owns the content?
You do: authors keep the copyright. Under the terms of service the platform gets a non-exclusive, perpetual license to store, display, translate and promote the materials as part of running the service — see the terms for details.
What does the platform take?
Running a blog and importing are free. A fee is taken only from your earnings — blog memberships, paid articles and tips: currently 15% on Free and Plus, 7% on Pro and 5% on Business. Payment processing fees are covered by the platform. Earnings become withdrawable after 7 days; the minimum payout is 1,000 ₽ or $20.
Will articles go live without my review?
Only if you choose so. By default imports create drafts and you publish them yourself. With auto-publishing an article goes live right away if your email is verified and the text is at least 300 characters long; otherwise it stays a draft. Imported articles go through the same moderation as any other.
Can I stop the import or delete everything?
Yes. You can pause or delete a source at any time — articles already imported stay, and you can unpublish or delete them in the studio. You can delete your account in the privacy settings: the blog is hidden and articles are archived and removed from the site. You can export your data first; any remaining balance has to be withdrawn beforehand.
Which languages can I write in?
Russian and English for now. The article language is detected automatically, and the article reaches readers whose feed is in that language. The interface is available in both languages too.

Connect your channel and see the result

The preview shows what the articles will look like before you connect. Nothing is published without your decision.
